Grass Roots Investment 2026: Enabling Growth, Elevating Financial Health

Purpose

Established in 2024, the Grass Roots Investment was created to address a structural gap: while financial inclusion has expanded access, prosperity and financial health remains uneven across rural and underserved grassroots communities in Asia. The Forum advances dialogue, alignment, and action around the next phase of inclusive growth: embedding long-term financial wellbeing, resilience, and responsible innovation at the core of economic development.

Why this Investment Matters Now

Curated, cross-sector participation

Institutional-level dialogue and working sessions

Regional representation across Asia and global partners

Focus on implementation and capital alignment

Participation is by invitation to ensure balanced representation and substantive exchange.

Milestones

Since its inception in 2024, the Forum has convened senior leaders from institutions including the World Bank, IFC, FMO, Temasek, regional central banks, and leading grassroots finance organizations across Asia and beyond. The Forum has served as a platform for cross-sector collaboration, partnership formation, and capital–policy dialogue in advancing financial health.
